Bruce Springsteen 'We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions'

Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen has finally given details about his new album 'We shall overcome: The seeger Sessions' which is set to be release on April 24th.
The celebrity's 21st album will contain 13 traditional songs collaborated with the singer Pete Seeger.

The album includes a DVD with recordings behind the scenes, two bonus tracks and a booklet with a note from the singer Bruce Springsteen. It seems like the celebrity's trying to get closer to his fans.
So much of my writing, particularly when I write acoustically, comes straight out of the folk tradition. Making this album was creatively liberating because I have a love of all those different roots sounds... they can conjure up a world with just a few notes and a few words.

Ne-Yo tops iTunes Chart

Ne-yo

The R&B celebrity Ne-Yo tops the iTunes chart with his first single 'So sick', a song which was written for his first girlfriend as a proof that he truly regrets he had been unfaithful.
It's about the first girl I ever fell in love with and the way that I completely screwed that up by letting my friends convince me to cheat on her. It was a bad, bad thing. I was real messed up about it for a real long, long time, so actually writing that song was very therapeutic for me.
- said the R&B celebrity Ne-Yo -
After Ne-Yo, on iTunes top 25 songs chart, stands Sean Paul with his newest single 'Temperature' on second place, the third place is occupied by James Blunt with his well-known single 'You're beautiful', song which grabbed number 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart this week, on number four stands T-Pain & Mike Jones with 'I'm N Luv' (Wit a Stripper) and on fifth place is Daniel Powter with 'Bad Day'.

iTunes Agent

iTunes

Have you ever wished to use your non-iPod MP3 Player with iTunes? It was impossible until now, when iTunes Agent is finally working on the music market.
iTunes Agent is a small application resting in your system tray constantly looking for new MP3 players and other music capable devices connecting to your system. When a device it recognizes is connected to the system, it will create a playlist for the device in iTunes and it will synchronize that list with tracks on your device.

It seems like iPod mania is enormous in Japan and keeps increasing among us, in most of the countries, for example in Italy where Pope Benedict XVI got an iPod on Friday, thanks to a group of workers at Vatican Radio. The Pope Benedict XVI got a 2 GB white iPod Nano containing classical music and the radio station's programming which helped Pope to become possessor of a so-desired iPod.

Napster has problems with Microsoft

Napster

At the Reuters Global Technology, Media and Telecoms Summit in New York, Napster CEO Chris Gorog blamed Microsoft for their failure considering that problems with Microsoft Windows Media technologies and Microsoft's device partners have hampered companies trying to compete with Apple's iTunes Music Store and iPod music players.

It seems like Napster's market capitalization is about $US160 million ($214 million), but it has cash assets of about $US112 million, becoming a company with small enterprise value. Napster's third-quarter net loss widened to $US17 million for the three months to December 31, from a loss of $US12.8 million a year earlier.
There is no question that their execution has been less than brilliant over the last 12 months. [...] It's a lot more complex to get organized properly than it is to build one device and one service as Apple has done.
- said Napster chairman and chief executive Chris Gorog -

Shakira new video

Shakira

After the not-so-big success Shakira had with her last single 'Don't bother', the pop celebrity prepares a new comeback with a new single. 'Hips don't lie' is a collaboration the pop singer had with Wycleaf Jean and it seems like it will be inspired and original with decent rhythm that will make Shakira move her body as she got us used to.

Her new album, 'Oral Fixation Vol 2', is out on Monday and her 'Hips don't lie' video also is ready but before that, the pop celebrity Shakira made a casting looking for persons who can "shake their body' for dancing in her new video. Concerning the title of the single Shakira said that hips are an important element in conceiving a number 1 hit.
My hips tell me where and when I should move. And my hips don't lie - my hips tell me the truth.
- says the pop celebrity Shakira -

Jamie Foxx 'Unpredictable' album

Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx, one of the best R&B celebrities and the Academy Award-winner will release his platinum selling US No 1 album 'Unpredictable' in Australia which is set to be release on March 18, once with the R&B single 'Unpredictable'. This album - 'Unpredictable' - is actually a follow-up to his 1994 debut album, 'Peep This' but I honestly think that his new R&B album is more successful then his first one.

For 'Unprediactable', Jamie Foxx collaborated with many celebrities such as Kanye West ('Extravaganza'), Snoop Dogg & The Game ('Be with you'), Twista ('Dj. play a love song'), Common ('U still got it') and Mary J. Blige ('Love Changes') being the fourth person who won an Academy Award and have a number one album.

On March 1, the celebrity's album had a preview of his full album for media were the singer explain that the release date of his upcoming album and the name of it had been chosen 'simply to coincide with it'.

On his new album, the music celebrity collaborated with saxophonist Maceo Parker who preserves the artist's hybrid style and Tamar for 'Beautiful, Loved & Blessed' and 'Fury', which was performed last month on 'Saturday Night Live'.

It seems like Prince's album will have R&B, rock and jazz influences and also he prepared a promotion for his fans: the singer includes limited number of 'Purple Tickets' with the physical CDs, granting for winners access to a private performance at his Minneapolis compound, Paisley Park. Not only the fans who buy the album can win but also the listeners who purchase the 'Black Sweat' single via Apple`s iTunes Music Store.

Surprisingly, the pop celebrity James Blunt put the R&B music star, Beyonce, on number 2, after five weeks consecutives on top of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Although the celebrity's pop album 'Back in Bedlam' won worst album at the NME Awards the British singer/songwriter ranked number five in The Billboard 200 Chart selling more then six million copies world wide.

Madonna tops the UK Charts

Madonna

Madonna leads the British Charts again with her newest single 'Sorry'. It seems like this is for the 12th time when the pop celebrity did this. It all started in 1985 with the pop single 'Into the groove' when Madonna impressed the British public for the first time with her pop music. Now, after 20 years, with the second single of her album - Confessions on a Dance Floor - the pop singer is still the British favourite music celebrity.

On the second place in this chart stands singer Corinne Bailey Rae with her new entry 'Put Your Records On', so now the ex- No. 1 'Thunder In My Heart' - a remix by DJ Meck of Leo Sayer's 1977 hit -, dropped on the third position.

Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland, one the Destiny's Child members, is planning a new solo album for which the R&B singer collaborated with Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles. The songwriter/singer Solange also participated on Kelly's debut album 'Simply Deep'.

The R&B celebrity has plans to build a strong career in the movie industry, like her mates Beyonce and Michelle Williams. First, the singer Kelly Rowland will show up on "Girlfriends" as Tammy Hamilton. Even if she has a small role for now, the R&B singer is confident that she'll receive a larger role in the future.
Recording this new album has really been a growth experience. The last two years have been a change, and I haven't even been able to actually take in everything that's going on with me as a woman. It's just been beautiful. I wrote a lot on this record ... and it's especially from me to my fans. [...]It's more R&B ... and it definitely has a feel-good vibe to it as well.

Coldplay new album this year

Coldplay

It seems like the British rock band Coldplay will release a new album this year. Although they have a great success and an amazing music career, the rock singer Chris Martin declared that he is not very satisfied with their current rock album X&Y. Because of that, the rock band plans the releasing of their next album as soon as possible.

Coldplay also said that they have enough material to record a new rock album but they are looking for their own place to set up and work. Why? Well, because for X&Y album the celebrity rock band was forced to run to different studios around the world during their rock project 'X&Y' recordings. It's another thing that they don't want to repeat... as the releasing of an unsatisfied rock album.

Rap singer The Game to release a new album

The Game

The rap celebrity The Game has a new album, named 'The Dr.'s Advocate' which is set to be release on 06/06/06. It seems like the rap singer's album will be very successful because of The Game's music collaborations with the next celebrities: Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Just Blaze, Scott Storch and Timbaland.

Surprisingly, the hip-hop star 50 Cent, who participated as co- executive producer and appeared on The Game's debut album - The Documentary -, didn't collaborate with the rap star maybe because in present, the hip-hop heavyweights are feuding over the attention of the R&B/Pop celebrity singer Mya.

The Game's album was expected even since last year, because the great rap singer declared for MTV in 2005:
It’s called The Dr.’s Advocate. It means Dr. Dre’s the man, what he says goes. He’s got the formula, and we gonna make it happen.
- said the rap celebrity The Game -
